I have not tried that one yet. I saw it on the tap list at Olive or Twist earlier this week but did not pull the trigger.

FBD: Santa Fe Pale Ale

Any of you ever had a Marble IPA or La Cumbre IPA? Both are New Mexico brews that are on the menu at this restaurant in Carlsbad.

Have heard great things about La Cumbre. Try them both.

FBD- Really good, I love Simcoe so this is a great match.

Ragincajun- La Cumbre is fantastic, definitely get it if it's available.

Thanks.

I just saw that La Cumbre IPA has a 97 rating on Beer Advocate and the brewery as a whole 98. As a result of my internet findings and testimony from fellow FBD companions, I've concluded that IPA will be my next selection.

I've had the La Cumbre Elevated IPA and it is a top tier IPA in my book.

2BD is a Double Trouble.

2BD: LaCumbre "Elevated" IPA

I can definitely dig this. Still like Torpedo better, but I have a crush on Sierra Nevada.

It's almost as if you can taste a slight hint of green chili pepper when you let it sit on your tongue.

Hmm. Might have to stop in next time. Last time I went it was some doofus that looked like me.

Jax, the ribeyes are in the oven at 250. We shall see if I can pull it off with thinner ribeyes.

SBD. So glad SN now dates their bottles in English now. Makes me more willing to buy their IPAs.

FBD was a Juke Joint.

SBD is a Hop Project 78 after arriving in Jackson. Headed to Athens tomorrow.

ETA: it's 82 and low humidity here. Very comfortable. I hope our highest electricity bills are behind us.

3BD: Marble IPA

Not nearly as good as the LaCumbre. Has the bitter aftertaste like Stone's IPAs, but not the upfront hop bite I crave.

My July bill in Sugar Land was $30 lower than June. But that could just be a result of the rugrats finally learning to close the door sooner.
