FBD is Drie Fonteinen Golden Doesjel. This is a celebratory beer after meeting a big deadline this afternoon. But since Doesjel is Flemish for "snoozer", I'm also going to dedicate this beer to Salmon and the recent loss of his soul pillow. Sleep tight fellow FBDer.

Tastes like Brussels. Lots of great lambic complexity, like a fine gueuze juice. I have another bottle and I'll be excited to try it if/when it decides to wake up.

Is that one the one Stein's sells for like $25? Been wanting to try it. Price was holding me back a little.

I'll probably go back to it, someday...

It made me smile every time.

Got a nice little BXN box from SC today and 2BD is a Westbrook IPA canned 7/14. Life is good in University Acres tonight.

Yea, it's pricey. Not sure I would recommend it unless you really like gueuzes such as I do. I could see someone being disappointed by the lack of carbonation, but I knew that going in.

Oh man. FBD after a hot hour and a half in the yard. This is about to be a shower beer. It's real nice.

I think I am going to try it out eventually.

Reuze by the bruery is one of my favorite sours so I think I will like it.

It's a brewpub in College Station. One of their servers brought the growler to me on her visit back home to see family in BR. And she brought me a Prairie Wine Barrel Noir and Funky Gold Mosaic. I guess not all Aggies are bad.

ETA: why couldn't the good looking girls who are into craft beer do this when I wasn't married?

Yeah, lack of carbonation fricks with me with certain brews. Recently had hotd cherry Adam from the wood which I think would have been spectacular with carbonation. Good, but tasted like a flat watered down bourbon county cherry
