With their track record I see them being the first to distribute a sour in the area.

Maybe. We all know what camp I'm in.

Bayou teche is pretty cool. Tap room is literally the size of my closet. Beers could be better.

I give bayou teche one thing, they make interesting beers. Not the best, but they try to mix it up.

The brothers are fun to hang out with at the brewery. When I've gone, they usually take out a couple bombers of stuff they've been experimenting with.

Can't say I've even had a Bayou Teche beer. Have had them in my hands and them put them down...what was your favorite? Or what would you recommend trying?

I'll agree with Ham on the Cocodrie. My favorite that they sell. They sell a bomber of stuff aged in wine barrels that is also good.

Last time I was there, Byron brought out a bomber of some whiskey-aged stuff. At that time, one of their employees had just done a small amount to test. Was very good. Sounds like they've decided to bring something similar to market now.

For anybody who likes sours and is planning on being in Oregon in August:

Block 15 Announcements:

Bring On The Wilds
We will be busy blending out of wild barrels for draught offerings this late summer. If you love the wild and sour style of beer you will enjoy our tap list these next couple months. Next week we will be tapping Wonka’s Plum Wit, a version of our wild wit matured with local golden plums. In the next couple months we will be offering Ferme de la Ville Provisions wild farmhouse, a black berry version of Wildfire, a blended gin barrel sour farmhouse, Fuzzy Wuzzy farmhouse/Berlinerweiss hybrid, a spontaneously fermented Gose, and more. Let’s get wild

Spontaneously fermented Gose, anyone?
