I think the Cocodrie is my favorite. It's a tripel ipa. The Biere Joi is a coffee ale and is also pretty good.

Both of those I think you'd be pleased with.

Kim Jong--what did they do to DreamCrusher? I've had it on tap and in a can...not wild about it.

Though my favorite DFW IPA is up next. Sweet, clean, delicious Community Mosaic IPA.

ETA pic:

Suga, my trip back from Santa B was hijacked by wine. I've planned properly for the next trip.

Soon...

Had a few of those recently compliments of Zappa and thought it was one of the better IPAs I've had

I think Cocodrie is really good.

I still need to try their latest barrel-aged saison. Sounds right up my alley.

Only cold beers in my house are 11% stouts. Not a good way to start August. So I walked down to Steins to grab a FBD

Also grabbed a Hoptimum and a Beer Camp bomber. $9 bucks all told.

Agreed. Pretty amazing that we have an IPA of this caliber that's locally made.

Though, it appears that they are having trouble keeping up with demand, at least in bottles. It's on tap everywhere, but pretty tough to find in stores.

Good problems.

I have not had DC since last year, but Zappas says they changed the recipe and it is now much maltier.

10BD is a oak aged Miel Sauvage straight out the barrel.

This is going to be the best beer they ever made. Subtle sweetness. Nice oak flavor. Really smooth and light mouthfeel. This is a very exceptional beer.

They have 4 barrel aged beers coming out in August. 1 in white wine barrels. I look forward to coming back in the near future.

Looks like someone found some barrels.

With their track record I see them being the first to distribute a sour in the area.
