It was great. I'd move there in a heartbeat. There's so much to do, and so much emphasis on outdoor activities. The downtown area is just fantastic.

Is downtown considered the part by the river? I have only been once and seemed pretty cool. I know they are big on hiking up there.

I feel that way about Birmingham. Nice and hilly. Little farther north with better weather and closer to east coast activities and Atlanta. Great Beer selection.

Only problem is that it's in Alabama.

What can I say? I'm not big on owning a maroon colored car.

I swear that state has to have the highest number of maroon cars per capita in the nation. Along with a 2'x2' script A on the back window and I start getting this feeling deep deep down.

The problem with Alabama, is that it's full of Alabamians.

Wife needed a Starbucks pick-me-up when we passed through Hattiesburg. So, I ran into the Corner Market grocery store in the same shopping center and grabbed one of each plus a couple Lazy Magnolia Backwoods Belgians. They had Yazoo Hop Project, but it was #70, so it was old.

Gents, I don't feel so well this morning. Must be allergies.

800mg ibuprofen, a big greasy breakfast, ice water, and a stiff bloody mary. Regulate, Dear Leader.

Corner market always had a good selection. The make your own six packs were better in Hattiesburg before the law changed than they are today in BR.
