Saison and East Bank were legit.

Have you had any of the Casey fruit stands? Those sound great but I get the impression they're pretty limited.

If the Texans can't hook you up I might be able too. I should have some headed this way for JF. In return you gonna have to watch my dog so I can go to comic con.

They are not too bad. Gotta keep them fed and especially when you add the fish. One of the turtles I have had for 13 years so it has eaten it's fare share of fish in small ponds (300gal or less). I expect this one should have enough room to have enough fish and action to make it not interested in chasing them too much. I'm going to stock it with a few hundred roses red minnows too so she has something else to chase.

You have to drive to Glenwood Springs (about 2.5 hrs with no traffic or snow) on the first Saturday of each month and wait in line for about 3-4 hours to get bottles of them. I ain't doing that, they are great beers and I really like like em but 5 hrs round trip on a good day which could easily turn into 8-9 with snow or ski traffic then stand in line for 3-4 hours sober because he doesn't allow drinking outside to purchase beer... frick all of that. Luckily I know people who feel differently so I get to try em and they are great but not worth the hassle. Also, you don't know the allotment before hand, he decides that by the line size, so you may go through all that and only be able to buy 1 bottle. Or you could arrive too late and get no bottles at all. Did I mention it is in Glenwood Springs so you would have to leave Denver at 530 to get there at 8am to be the 30 in line?

Ah, gotcha. Yea, that's quite a commitment. Now, I understand why people are so "proud" of those fruit stands.

Is the saison the only one you'll see on shelves?

i tried those minnows and the birds had a feast on them. i have a lot of minnows in my pond but most got there on their own. they breed like crazy it looks like.

im kind of having a problem with raccoons eating my fish now. any time someone/something walks by the pond, all the fish come to the surface looking for food. raccoon doesnt even have to try and get them.

East Bank and Oak theory hit the shelf for a couple hours. The Saisons only make it to like 4 stores here and they don't last long. The fruit stands are great but I honestly prefer the plain saison. If you know someone in Glenwood Springs or Carbondale they seem to stay on shelves there.

LastBD is an Undercover Ale. Like you said, this one is boozy--not that there is anything wrong with that.

I should revisit that one, it has been a few years.

Having a Sierra Nevada Nooner Pilsner

Gonna wash it down with a glass of rye for a nightcap, bed by 11.
