Good plan yeezy. I am hitting the rack soon too. I have a very busy work week ahead of me.

2009?! Damn. I can't even imagine. Sounds wow.

And Dissident...would try. Want to try. If you can grab me one...well, I'll make a legit exchange.

The vintages were special on-premise only deal. But I'll see if they have any recent Dissident for sale on the way out.

Whatever you think of Deschute's beer, their brewpub is damn nice. Don't forget that you also have Fat Head's and 10 Barrel brewpubs within a couple of blocks.

ETA: They had The Dissident at Belmont-Station last week...

If I was me, I would hit up 10 Barrel. It just opened last week, and their brewpub in Bend is a helluva lot of fun. They usually have a lot of good one offs, and their food in Bend was great.

I haven't had a chance to go, yet, but it looks really cool from the pics online.

10 Barrel Brewpub

ETA: Just noted that the rooftop seating won't open until a little later this year.

It was damn nice. The food was great too, for pub fare. My wife liked the place a lot.

Actually I was talking to the waiter about how we don't get Deschutes in Louisiana, but how I've still managed to seek out and try a lot of their beers already, and he comped our dessert for "helping spread the word." Pretty cool.

This is a bit off topic, but I saw your thread from a few years back about the origins of the Sazerac. Your Mom almost had it correct. Alphonse Perret was the head bartender at the Sazerac bar in the Roosevelt Hotel in NOLA. And the Perret's are not distant cousins to Lincoln, but are to his wife. Hope that helps redeem your Mom a bit. You can find info in Old Families of Louisiana by Stanley Arthur.
