Headed to Domenica for the first time this evening.

Will be getting there for about 5:00pm so at least part of my stay will be during happy hour.

What do you guys say are the can't miss items there?

Squid Ink Pasta
Gnocchi
Whole Roasted Cauliflower

Any of the pizzas, although a lot here are partial to the Carrot pizza (I haven't had it).

tutto carne and carrot pizza are both killer

as far as the whole roasted cauliflower w/ goat cheese spread I had it last night @ Pizza Domenica and thought the one I made at home following the recipe was better.

the burrata is nuts .. definitely try if you want some cheese

pastas: rabbit tagiliatelle or squid ink pasta . both on point.

Enjoy, one of my personal favorites.

Try a pie or two. If you like pasta, get a few small plates. (Rabbit tagliatelle, or stracci)

Carrot pizza was excellent. Garlic knots aren't always on the menu, but you can ask your server for them.

Smoked pork pizza has been my favorite so far. It was so freakin' good.

Had some goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms a few years ago that were one of the best apps I ever ate. I also love the stracci pasta (chicken livers/oxtail)

I reiterate the chicken livers and oxtail pasta. Outstanding.

Pretty much all listed and I do the cauliflower at home as well. We only order it now if we have a larger table. It's too much for just two along with all else.

the wild mushroom pizza is very good, the burrata, is good, the roasted lamb would be my favorite item on the menu but the roasted peach cake takes that with me.

And as much as I like brusell sprouts I'm burned out on them and most restaurants could do us a favor and hold off for awhile. Everyone has them.

Wild Mushroom pizza is excellent. I also recommend the Carrot pizza; I haven't tried it yet but I've heard it's one of the best pizza flavor combinations in the city.

Oxtails with the chicken livers.

I really like the goat as well.

The cauliflower is axiomatic as is the buratta.

Just a head's up since I remember this thread from a couple weeks ago: Oxtail and chicken liver stracci is off the menu until cooler weather comes in. I didn't really see where it was unfit for summertime, but they said they're trying to keep more refreshing pastas on the menu.

I finally got the cauliflower. Delicious, but doubt I'll ever order it again. Glad I tried it though.

Had the roasted carrot pizza and the smoked pork pizza.
Everyone was right: the roasted carrot was the best. I could get that every time.

Mother of god it's true.
I looked at the online menu the when this thread opened. I didn't see the stracci and had a small heart attack.

Now my worst fears are confirmed.

I remember the first time my group ordered this was basically on a whim. It was happy hour and just said "frick it" lets try it.
Best whim payoff ever.

I know :( It was the best pasta I think I've ever had. He didn't mention them bringing it back when it cools off, but I hope like hell that's what he meant.

The ingredients on it are very "me" and not at all Jones, so he didn't want it the first time we went. After seeing the hype here lately about it, he let me get it.. and he ended up loving it.

I had almost the same experience. It's definitely not my normal type of order, but after reading the hype I figured I needed to give it a shot.

Worth it.
