Spin off thread of sorts from one on the OT Lounge earlier.

Where is your favorite place to have a good meal and a drink in New Orleans without all of the fanfare of some of the finer dining establishments?

Do Adolfo's and Italian Barrel count? In Metry, Sandro's Trattoria? If these are too fancy, do I get scorned for saying I'm particularly fond of a #4 w/ sauce and onions with a chili cheese fry side?

Buffa's.

We sometimes leave the house around 2 am and drive down to new orleans.

We can get a good meal, hear some music, hang out, and then catch breakfast in BR on the way home.

Daytime: Verti Marte

Drunk as hell: Kubi's. I've only ever had the pizza there but it was a drunk person's dream slice.
