Finally got a reservation, headed down next week with out of town friends. Any F&DB favorites to keep in mind?

Get the tasting menu and let the sommelier pair it up some wine. It will cover all the bases. Have em work the gnocchi in there

Went last night. Started off with the lemon fish appetizer and had the flounder for my entree. The wife had the snapper. Had the "dirt cake" for dessert. They also brought out some pralines and coffee cakes. It was one of the best meals of my life. Great experience. I'll go back for sure. Enjoy.

Had this last month and i wasnt a fan of 2 of the 3 ways, a strawberry version and some weird german thing.

Crab gnocchi was great.

The duck entree was incredible as well.

Breaded Flounder was amazing.

My two favorite dishes we tried were the huitlacoche agnolotti and the wagyu beef.

My wife's step brother is a sous chef and his wife is one of the head waitresses, so we were spoiled while there and had an unforgettable night on our anniversary.

I'll back up others in this thread. I went a couple years back during a friends bachelor party. Wasn't exactly sober, but I sure as hell remember that gnocchi. I would recommend that for sure.

Get the tasting menu

I'm heading to August this weekend for the first time in years. Is the entire table required to order the tasting menu? I know some places try to push full participation.

I went a few years ago and feel like they had some banana pudding dessert.

Place was legit good when I went. Menu looks to have changed a fair bit which is understandable. I was also quite drunk
