has me baffled as to how they keep the doors open. I've been passing by there a few times a week on various evenings for a few months now and I don't think I've ever seen more than two cars there. Maybe they get a later crowd or do a bang up Saturday night business or something, but I doubt it.

What other places have you noticed that seem to be so slow that it's amazing they are still open.

I lived on Lake Marina in a condo until a year ago. There was rarely anyone in there. I ate there once and was underwhelmed and never went back.

I've been there a few items with a client for lunch that always demanded the Red Maple. I still have no idea as to why that is.

I've been there for lunch a few times and liked it. When I was there it was not full but had 5 or so tables of older clientele and ladies who lunch. I need to try it for dinner.

George's Grill on Kings Hwy in Shreveport. We ate there once, nothing special. Seems like it is empty except a few cars at lunch.

i went once and it was awful. No one except us and one other couple was in the place. I'm actually shocked to see it mentioned as I was under the impression it already closed.

restaurants that own the property where they reside have a completely different cash flow situation than if they rent. Really true of any business. But especially restaurants.

I don't know if this is true with restaurants but with most businesses the owner will buy the property/building under his name or a different company and pay rent to himself. That way when he sells the business it still provides him some cash flow.

Are they lacking for business or just not good? Seems Applebees, although garbage to me, still does a brisk business.

I just ran out to Emmetts to get some meat and Smilies across the street is another one I thought of. Place is hot garbage and I don't recall ever seeing many people there.

Pita Pit on Magazine. I rarely see any cars in parking lot or anyone out on patio.

The sonorous, bloated, voice of the rotund one (Tom Fitzmorris) claims its one of the best restaurants in the City. And, yes, they advertise on his shlock, I mean, show.

That place is garbage.
Horrible food. Seems dead, good location, surprised something better isn't there.
