You are correct sir. Hope this goes through. Their chargrilled oysters are great

I would contact the owners of cochon and phares before making this business investment. Just sayin

They are really expanding
They opened in Jackson next to the Hilton on county line recently. I think it has done well thus far but it is the location of multiple failed restaurants.

Phares really blew it with their change in attitude and menu. Finally brought back oysters but may be too late.
Cochon had too much competition with rural and local gas stations and cafes doing better food :)

Phares was really never THAT good before or after the menu change.
Always thought something was a little off about that place.

I'd have thought that location would work. What's the reason(s) for the past failures?
And I'd expect it to kick arse in Laffy if located and managed correctly.

I just read some uncomplimentary stuff about that location from a friend and his friends on Facebook. Bad service and food wasn't up to the par, what food they actually got. Hope it straightens out.

I think they failed primarily because the food wasn't great in the previous restaurants. I'm hopeful Drago's will do well. Shapleys is in a much more obscure location as you know, but continues to flourish.

Old classmate from high school was there the other night and really enjoyed it.

Good to hear. I think we'll end there Friday If we don't go to seafood revolution

Ate at Phares once. Food was decent enough. Service was horrible at best. Only the second time I've ever stiffed a waiter, and I've been a waiter. Never went back. Same with Randol's tourist trap.
