Does anyone know of a good place on the Northshore to buy pellets for a pellet smoker?

If you're not far from Slidell the Hooters there might be able to sell you some. I could make a call for you.

Home improvement and sporting goods stores are hit and miss usually.

Academy does sell pellets and I've seen them at Walmart. I think Wm sells the Pitboss brand. Home Depot in Metairie sells Traeger pellets so check the store there.

Academy has a really good selection of BBQ stuff. Not sure about pellets but that's where I get wood chunks and rub.

I've heard the walmarks Piteous pellets were terrible. Never used them so I can't personally attest to that. I CAN however vouch for B&B pellets at Academy.
