Refrigerate. I buy the half gallon jugs from Sam's and keep it at least 6 mo's in the fridge. I use it with tabasco as a base for meat marinade.
Label on the back says "refrigerate after opening". It also says quality product for over 300 yrs. Must have had some very advanced refrigeration 300 yrs ago?!

My household uses a lot of soy sauce, so we keep it out. Household's preferred brands are Maggi and Golden Mountain.
