The extra spicy sesame chicken was awesome.. They closed before I even left Lafayette....there is hub city diner off of college if I remember correctly but I never liked it

Not sure why expressing an opinion would be considered trolling. If I've stepped on toes it is unintentional.

It's off of Guilbeau. I have never had a bad meal from there, so maybe they changed something. Not to mention the super speedy delivery. Sub 20 minutes every time.

Too late now but my suggestion would have been Cafe V.

Where did you end up?

Tons of traffic in the area pinned me down at Outback, just steps from the hotel. I'll try Jolie's this evening..

Cafe Vermillionville is the place you want to go, Jolie is good too....I agree avoid blue dog unless it's brunch

Traffic is bad for about and hour between 5 and 6, just ask chicken......dumbass tried to take a left out of the hilton at 5:00

Jolie's is outstanding. Great wine list and some of the best mixologists you'll find anywhere.

My recommendation: The Louie salad followed by Ciopinno Stew.

Keep us posted.

And if you go to Jolie's, a side I'd try: sweet potato and andouille hash. Delicious!

Although I didn't eat it at Jolie's, they sent a dish of it somewhere that I was able to have a sample. Well, I meant to just sample it, but two bowls later ...

Good stuff.

Oh and Count, I will try to stay on this side of TD!

And now you know, bro. Go have yourself a bacon-infused bourbon fancy somethin-or-other cocktail.

Ciopinno Stew

This caught my eye because I'm a sucker for a good ciopinno, and I've never been to Jolie's, so I pulled up the dinner menu and this jumped out at me:

Fried Rabbit Livers
Sriracha honey glaze, toast points, pickled shallots
