Been to both, Cowbell is a decent amount ahead.

Not selling fat cow short, but it just isn't as good.

Are you just asking about the burgers, or the food in general? Either way, Cowbell is better, IMO. The meat on the burgers at Fat Cow is strange, somehow. They do have okay milkshakes, though.

These two don't belong in the same category. Cowbell all day. I wouldn't even set foot in fat cow if these are your options

Fat Cow might be the most disgusting burger I've ever had. Tasted like rubber.

Cowbell has the best burger in the city, imo

Which one do you go with? Do you add anything?

Yea, I really don't get how they get that result. They swear it's not frozen, but I've never seen meat like that. Very spongy. It's too bad, because I like everything else about their business except the whole meat part

Never been to Fat Cow but I was disappointed in Cowbell considering all the hype it gets on here. It's been a while but I think the only thing I enjoyed was one of the sides.

Add the compote for sure. I usually add white cheddar and pickles as well.

Does Cowbell have a pompous arse for an owner? If so, they are tied.

If not, then Cowbell > Fat Cow

The owner of Cowbell is Misty May Trainor's (the volleyball Olympian) brother. Seemed like a cool dude the few times I talked to him sitting at the bar.

That's not a bad deal with the Cade Cab. That's a Howell Mountain and it's about $75-80 bottle.

Anyone try the harvest burger? I'd like a good vegan option around BR.

I just finished a great burger at Jubans. They need to work on the fries.
