You are screwed. Greenville is a few hours away, the same thing applies to Charleston. Columbia is a culinary wasteland.

I second Motor Supply Co. Their menu changes daily and it is a solid restaurant. I ate there twice in 2009 (attending the Ole Miss - South Carolina game). Needless to say, Motor Supply was a highlight.

For the last LSU football game there I had dinner at a place called Mr. Friendly's and it was great. Long wait but there was a bar adjacent to it with plenty of TV's and plenty of local brew's to sample.

Columbia is an incredible place to eat actually.

Deli: Grouchos. Get the STP Dipper w 45 sauce. People will constantly argue Andy's. Grouchos is the winner. Eddie's on Main for the roast beef.

Yesterday's and Lizard's Thicket are great for southern food. One think we lack down south is a good Meat and Three. Lizard's Thicket is the apex for this.

Mexican: Monterreys. Cheap. Great.

Lower Scale: Birds on a Wire, Za's (everyone will be here on Thursday night), Villa Tronco a good pizza option too.

Upper Scale: Dianne's On Devine, Hennesseys, Mr. Friendlys
