Thought you were going to comment on my wife stacking all of the components. No idea why you'd put all of that over asparagus, but I digress.

Well, in the spirit of Christmas, I decided to withhold comment on that. However, your wife obviously went for the look of the plate on that.

Now, even the Christmas spirit is not enough for me to refrain from commenting on Forkbeard's plate with those beans all over the eggs and around that ham. That ketchup is touching things too. Normally, though, I don't mind my yolk running into the grits , but I hate wasting it because it's best on the toast. Those beans on the eggs are going to haunt me all day.

French toast casserole. Google and find a recipe that you'd like (there's a ton out there). Most require you to put it together the night before so it can soak in the batter before baking in the morning. It's always a hit when I fix it for home or work.

How about some variations on monkey bread, like a savory one with bacon and cheese and chives? One with cranberries and walnuts? I've been trying to think of a lemony version. Add chocolate sauce to the cinnamon version? Lots of options.

Keeping it simple this year so there is not a lot of clean up: Mary Bs biscuits, bacon, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls. Mimosas and coffee.
