Chicken left out overnight?
Am I going to die? I baked chicken and forgot to put in the fridge. Left out about 10 hrs

No, cooked it last night before I went to sleep. Left it out to cool before putting in fridge. I was making it for the week

That is a risk I am not willing to take for a $5 bird...

I'd eat it.

But if it had not already been cooked I would not.

Already cooked, I think it's fine. If not cooked, definitely tossing it in the trash.

Unless you have a weakened immune system, about the worst that would happen is a longer than normal visit to the wast depository.

Most food at a picnic sits out longer than that or as long as that.

I've left things out to cool several times and never been remotely sickened by it. Not to say you won't die this time.

They don't know you're going to eat poisoned chicken.
