Could use some of those right now. I like it when the flames jump up and put a little more golden color on them. Enjoy that meal.

I'll be honest. I would only use a hard aged cheese and not a soft milk cheese on the oysters.
Parmesean Peperconio romano, asiago. etc...

I thought that was a strange butter and didn't mention it. I wondered why they were a strange color, though. It's yellow cheese? If so, I don't think I would enjoy those.

Rough crowd here. I did half chargrilled and tried half "jacked up". Thought I had pepperjack at home, but I didnt. So I tried the mexicheese, which was almost just as good.
Yall should not go to Jolie Pearl if you're picky about what you put on your grilled oysters
And I'll say again, Reno's in Sorrento has the best sacks of oysters around Baton Rouge, for the best price.
