Will it be slammed Saturday for lunch? I want to take the Mrs. there since it's the only day we have free time. TIA

It is almost always slammed, but yep it will be for sure. If you go, go early before they open at 11:00.

Yea I know but I figured it would be extra slammed this weekend. We'll try to get there early then. Thanks glass

Your best bet is going when they open for dinner. They have parades rolling right there for lunch but they will all be cleared out by dinner. Last year I walk right in at 5:30.

Does anyone have an update on how their daughter Nicole is coming along? Their website still notes they are limiting their days while she is recovering from the accident.

We have a balcony reserved with food and drink at night. Tomorrow we're eating with family, and Sunday is the ball. Saturday for lunch is the only free time we have.

That could work if you can't be there before 11 am for lunch.
Crab claws
Oysters
Oyster or Shrimp Loaf
Cup of gumbo optional.

It's been too long. I need an oyster loaf ASAP.

I didn't know about that. Thanks for the post. I hope she recovers well. Website indicates it was a serious accident. There's info for donations toward her rehabilitation.

I've known them since college, her sister Natalie keeps everyone updated on facebook, seems that nikki was released from the hospital in Houston in the last couple weeks and sent home. "She has a long recovery ahead, both physically and cognitively"

My goodness, that doesn't sound too good other than that she was released to go home. That part is good. So sorry to hear this.
