Do the people behind the line at Picadilly still say "Serve you?"

Maybe now, but was it always like this in every cafeteria style restaurant? Kind of doubt it.

I like Niki's in Bham. I have been in Texas for almost 2 years and still haven't been to a Luby's. I need to give it a try one day.

I don't see anyone going nuts over anything.

When i was younger, i thought A&G and Wise cafeteria were both the SHITE.

I did, however, have a less discerning palate back then, so i may have been enjoying total crap.

Too bad they're both long gone now.

I find Piccadilly " To Go" to be a good alternative to the occasional fast good. If you are going to spend 7-8 dollars at Wendy's or Canes, you can go to Piccadilly and get a meal with some veggies.

I can eat liver in so many forms, but liver and onions I wouldn't eat if I was starving and they were the last morsel of food on the planet.

I have despised cafeterias since 1st grade. The last time I went to Picadilly on Sherwood, about 6 years ago, it was so bad we left full plates on the table, walked across the parking lot to Brewbacher's, and got sandwiches.

There are places in BR I will never give a 2nd or 3rd chance to, I don't care how many management changes they go through:

Picadilly
Druscilla
Podnuh's
Boutin's

All just terrible.

So you went to the worst Brewbacher's of what is already a pretty avg place to begin with?

The place closed for a reason.. It was downright craptastic of a place and filthy.

We were hungry and Brewbacher's had hot and fast and it was like Ruffino's compared to Picadilly.

Not dramatic, it was that bad. I had my son with me, he will beat a buzzard to a dead goat, he would eat it either.
