it's affiliated with the one in NY? Strip House is a top 5 NYC steak house, IMO.

Breakfast? Grab a couple bagels and save your money for dinner.

didn't really care for their breakfast menu, but the lunch and dinner dishes are damn solid.

I think it's their strength.

Stayed on the UWS last time I was in New York and went here. It was good, I guess, but breakfast has never really been anything that does much for me.

Ate at a little dive diner at the corner of Columbus and 86th another morning that I found just as enjoyable for about 1/4 the price.

Russ & Daughters was my go-to. Onion bagel w/ caviar cream cheese

eh. used to work right down the street from there. coworkers would often stop and pick up a bunch of their random flavors. never really cared for it. Balthazar, Shopsins and Russ & Daughters are all in the same general area and are better for breakfast, IMO.

Agree with Balthazar and Pastis, but if midtown, Norma's at the Parker Meridien is outstanding. And Locanda Verde in Tribeca is good.

never eaten at Norma's, but the burger joint hidden round back is a neat little spot.
