Going for a four day weekend in January and I'm looking for some recommendations. Lunch and dinner spots and maybe a good pub.

E-mail me and I will send you a list. It all depends on what you're looking for. So many good options here.

Most weekends they have a food truck out in the parking lot, two birds with one stone.

But the location in Boston proper does not have a tap room, so you have to be able to get out to Canton.

I'll be staying at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf.

Fairly central location. You'll be near the North End (basically Boston's version of Little Italy) and there are tons of amazing restaurants there.

Do you have an idea of the kind of food you'd like to eat? Price point? Number of people (matters for some of these small places because of reservations)?

Just 2 people....not really concerned about price, but I don't need a Commanders Palace quality dining experience either. And any food that is good is game except for BBQ joints. Thanks!

Went there earlier this year.

AbitaFan's list is top notch.

Personal food highlights from my time there (in order of amazing ness)

Table at Season to taste (in Cambridge)
Hot Lobster Roll @ Neptune Oyster
Clam Chowder at Legal Seafood
Winsor Dim Sum

Also, had a great time at the Harpoon Brewery Tour

North End especially if you like Italian and seafood.

Neptune Oyster is one of my faves.
