Logo is kind of sterile; not too adventurous to open with brown ale and lager releases; perhaps there's a market for those options though; Is anyone catering to that market? NOLA blonde is undrinkable and a good cold lager is nice when it's hot outside.

I've heard they have deep pockets and will likely end up on tap all over the city, including the Dome.

I know I'm in the minority, but I wish more local breweries would focus on the "non-ambitious" stuff. I love great raft here, but Jesus how may different kind of absurdly hopped IPA's and sours do you need????

And yea...I've seen the FBD posts so I know downvotes are coming....whatever I like what I like

This makes me laugh. You'll know when it's oversaturated when the crappy ones start going out of business. If the crappy ones went out of business right now, then there would be even more of a shortage of the good ones than there already is.

So why don't the good ones just brew more beer? Some do. Often times, when they do, the beer suffers when they increase the scale, and people don't like the way it tastes, anymore, so they turn to a smaller up and comer. I see it happening all the time.

It was good. Nothing too adventurous.

Nice place. Cool location. I like the logo.

I've driven by twice in the past week and Strief's big arse has been standing out on the front patio glad-handing the public. I'll give them a few months before trying it. There is too much good beer flowing in this town (Courtyard, Urban South, NOLA Tap Room) to waste time on the newbies until they prove it's worth straying for.

Made the mistake of hitting Wayward Owl the first week and the beers were so average it really has not made me want to go back. I did buy a fresh, single can of Clean Slate IPA the other day and it confirmed what I found on opening week.

Wayward Owl is making probably the worst beer in the city right now. It's unfortunate. Cool spot, but no reason to go over there. I'm not going to bother with Port Orleans until the crowds die down and they have some beers that actually interest me. The place has been slammed every time I've driven by.
