The Earl of Sandwich has an interesting history and I think it is the only one in the US. The original Ealt of Sandwich (10 generations back) invented the Sandwich and the current Earl decided to cash in on the name. Wolfgang Puck also has a restaurant in Downtown Disney, no review because we did not eat there...

The Earl of Sandwich is seriously one of my favorite places to eat. You should try it if you make it to downtown disney. I forgot to add one hidden gem last night that most people dont know exists unless someone tells you about it and someone jogged my memory when they mentioned hoop dee do.

The Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of Disneys best kept food secrets. Attached to the regular menu is an all you can eat option and it includes good bbq sausage, chicken, ribs, and some awesome cornbread. They have some other menu items as well. I would highly recommend you try and get reservations for dinner there. If you do make sure you or one of your kids asks for a very large drink and say how thirsty you are, and ask for ketchup. You'll love this place. :)

Cost is not that big a deal since we already bought the deluxe Disney pre-paid meal plan which I plan on using to its fullest!

Good move.

Make sure you call to reserve your seating, especially at Le Cellier, because reservations are harder to come by.

However, if you hear the story about no reservations are available, go by the restaurant the day you would like to go before they open and chances are, they will have some cancellations.

I'm not going to ruin it just ask for it even if you already have it on your table. The waiters are fake rude to you. It's a fun experience.

Reservations can be made online. When I made them in December all restaurants for that evening were listed with times available on one page. It made it very easy. I don't remember the link but I was directed there when I tried to make reservations at an individual Disney Resturant...

The Yachtsman Steakhouse kicks Le Celliers face in as far as the steaks go and is a lot easier to get a reservation. Le Cellier is more of a mythical figure since it's usually very difficult to get a reservation for it. Dont get me wrong it's good and convenient if you are trying to eat at Epcot but the Yachtsman has better steaks and is just a slightly longer walk. You can get to the Yachtsman taking the pathway toward the Boardwalk.

Oates, when I go to Disney this Summer, I'm coming back to ask you some questions. You seem well versed in dining and mentioned a lot of p0laces I want to try now.

I used to like the Mexican restaurant in Mexico(Epcot) as a kid. I also like the Crystal palace breakfast, the restaurant in the Contemporary, The one in France, the Morrocoan one, The one where you sit in cars at MGM, the Brown Derby, and the BierGarten. It's just been a while.

Hit me up man. I've planned several trips for friends and with friends and we've dined at just about every restaurant on property. I'm what some might call a fanatic.

I love to eat too so that helps.

Oh and San Angel Inn most definitely still exists. I enjoy that you can get a table and watch people getting on the Three Caballeros while you eat. That restaurant probably has one of the best indoor theming of all the Epcot restaurants.

The new one, La Hacienda de San Angel is ok but doesn't have the theming. It's also in Mexico.

Yes I remember the inside of that place and seeing the people on the boats more than I remember the food itself.

The food is ok but the experience makes it a lot better. The temple smoking in the background is an awesome special effect too.

And Lsurussian, if you guys are dead set on dining at Le Cellier, make sure you have a backup plan. While Will Cover had apparent good luck and the possibility certainly exists with cancellations, I've learned that you might also not be able to get in as well (we're had that happen twice). Luckily I had backup reservations made at Les Chefs des France.

Biergarten... I really wanted to like this place. Once I realized I was paying for what tasted like bologna I was done. The desert and entertainment were pretty good but there are much better meals in Disney.

There's a new place in the Italy section towards the back. It's a pizza place but they have three wood burning ovens imported from over there. Amazingly good. Like best pizza I've ever eaten good.

Eta: It's called Via Napoli.
