I am in Lafayette for the night and would like some Cajun or seafood. Any suggestions?

Wanna pay up for a lil fancier grub go to prejeans by da race track. Damn good food with a cajun flare and often live music too.

I ended up going with Bontemps. Started off with a cup of smoked chicken and Andouille gumbo. Had grilled redfish with a Satsuma meuniere sauce and sautéed crawfish tails. Side was mashed red hot potatos. Washed it all down with a couple of canebreak beers and finished up with bananas foster bread pudding.

Not the fanciest place, but very friendly waitstaff and an overall very enjoyable meal.

Thanks to all who posted suggestions.
