I was coming here to see if anyone has put The Boot on their list.
Personally, I love Theo's the best, with Reginellis up there. But I haven't explored too many pizza joints in NOLA

I'll try Pizzacare, the pictures look pretty good. I'm a big fan of Crescent though, they will be tough to beat.

Did Crescent ever convert the breakfast spot they bought? I thought they were going to expand Crescent and relocate the breakfast store. I haven't been in a few months.

Pizza Shack in Opelousas blows Pizza Village out the water!

And if i'm not looking for a red based pizza i would have to go with Melow.

Wouldn't doubt it, but his description was spot on for Pizza Village not Deano's. The two are nothing alike.

The space next to Crescent Pie & Sausage where Huevos used to be is now Wakin' Bakin'. Their big thing is breakfast delivery, and it's pretty decent. I've already ordered it like 4 times in the past month or so they've been open.

Thanks, I was wondering how they were doing. I need to get back to Crescent, I love all their food. I didn't enjoy spending nearly 2 hours at lunch, but it is good. Hope they have sped their service up some.

All you who have only had Johnny's in BR need to keep quiet about it, that's like saying redheads are disgusting when the only one you've ever seen is Kathy Griffin

I've had it in BR and Monroe. No discernible difference. It's good for what it is. I like it. But I like a sampler from Gatti's too.

The best pizza I've had in Louisiana is Mamma Della's...by a large margin. But I haven't tried a lot of the places mentioned.

Pizzicare on Tulane Ave in NOLA. I've had em all in NOLA and it's the best, to me.

I had it for the AFC championship. Not a sole was in the place. Pizza was way too greasy and the sausage was terrible. Reminded me of a poor man's schlitz & giggles. Won't be going back.
