Full Sail IPA or Amber....both can be found for 6.99 a sixer. I've seen it for 5.99 on sale but that is not everyday. The IPA is way better than All Day, Go To or the other trendy session beers I have tried.

Session ipa don't do it for me. It's like a condom blow job

I would go with Bell's Two Hearted Ale, it is $7.49 for a 4 pack of tall boys in the ATL area. It's a little hoppy and well balanced.

I don't have experience with this, so I'll have to defer to your knowledge of the taste.

Use to buy flats of Heineken Light for like $14. Was a good time when I knew nothing about the world.

Yeah. I'm not poor, but we have a different definition of "inexpensive." When I'm drinking cheap beer, it's usually Old Style or PBR.

If you want to go up a tier and get into the less expensive good craft beers, I agree on the All Day IPA. I like a lot of Boulevard offerings as well (I really like their 80 acre hoppy wheat), and they aren't horribly priced. The Shiner Farmhouse isn't bad, either.

I haven't read all 4 pages, but you can't go wrong with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Torpedo. Both great beers that run $1-1.25 per 12oz.

The 60's formula Schlitz is pretty good, at least compared to Bud, Miller and Coors. If the Schlitz without "Classic '60's Formula" is the only available, avoid it.
