The Woman's Hospital
Leader's (Gonzales, St. Amant)

Chicken Shack
Others also mention the LA State Police cafeteria (can't verify, haven't been)

Chelseas is pretty good. There used to be a place on 61 heading into St Francisville that had awesome chicken fried chicken, but I think its a liquor store or small car dealership now

Chick-A-Dilly in Haynesville, Homer, or Arcadia, LA. There is no better chicken anywhere! Period!

Don't think it is as good since the ownership changed. Mama (Seabell) makes some killer chicken. Delpits is also good, just a tad on the greasy side. I also had some good chicken at The Den.
ETA:realizing where I eat lunch every day makes me think my cholesterol is going to be off the charts when my blood work comes back.

Look, I've been to all the places that claim to have the "best" chicken... Lorman Country Store, Willie Mae's, etc. and none of them come close to this:
There is Gus's, and then there's everyplace else. There is no comparison.
