Fine dining, no. Good food, tapas and chocolate is pretty good as is Edwards.

Too many to name and more are popping up daily. Fish out of water, George's, Great Southern, etc. several others that are good that are not fine dining as well.

Easy answer. Café Thirty-A. Fun and lively atmosphere and the food is very good. Go early for cocktails because they have a nice bar. This is not Commander's Palace level fine dining but it is fine enough by gulf coast standards.

Agree the more casual spots are going to be a better bang for the buck. Red Bar, shrimp shack, etc...

Tango is my favorite, but I want to hit Cuvée 30A.

We did the chef's table event at Roselie Dining & Seafood Bar back in August, and it was one of my top 10 culinary experiences.

It's at the east end of 30A, but well worth the extra couple of miles.
