What's your vote for the best burger chain in America? I excluded sit-down restaurants without drive-through windows.

I'd go with In n Out.
Never tried Jack in the Box. Can't go there without getting 6-8 of those nasty greasy tacos. Love those things.

Some of those are extremely popular chains along the West Coast or Southwest. I think that there are enough people on this board who have been out that way to warrant including them.

Can I choose Backyard Burger? I'm in BR so my choices are limited.
Checkers/Rally's used to be good though.

I was going to suggest them, but they don't meet his definition. At least I have not seen one with a drive thru.

Far and away the most overhyped burger ever. I made it a point to go there while in LA for work. It's not even top 10 imo of burgers I've had.

My favorite is 5 guys, but I have a special place in my heart for a bag of sliders from the White Castle on Glenway ave in Price Hell, err, I mean Hill in Cincinnati at 3 in the morning.
