From a buddy in VP. I still do this every so often at home.

Mix 2 ounces of white vinegar with a few shots of Crystal (or Trappey's or Louisiana brand) hot sauce. Drag a tail though this concoction every so often and enjoy Nirvana.

You're welcome.

The best crawfish dip comes from Shreveport or Lafayette.

Cut that ketchup 50/50 with Heinz Chili Sauce...then you got something.

Some hot sauce and seasonings, and this is just cocktail sauce. Which of course is delicious, but you could have just said cocktail

Again, Shreveport doesn't make crawfish dip. I don't know why people think this.

Have a buddy that adds a tad of mustard to his dipping sauce (Mayo, ketchup, Worcestershire).

...and I really hate to admit it, but it's actually pretty good.

Vinegar makes my a-hole sweat blood.

That's how I know when it's good vinegar.

That's how everybody I know starts with.
I like it plain, some people add onions.
Some people add chopped boiled eggs.
Kind of like gumbo everybody has their own recipe but it's all still gumbo.
