This shite is legit good. Like a lot of things out of Oregon (im looking at you Tillamook), Umpqua is the best brand of ice cream I've eaten from a grocery store.

I used to would have said bluebell. The wife has discovered Edy's vanilla with caramel. Maybe GOAT.

Jeni's, though it is stupidly expensive (like $9/pint) and only sold at Whole Foods in these parts.
Talenti gelato is the best available at your average WalMart.

K&B ice cream would put that to shame.

HEB makes good ice cream.

It really depends what you are looking for. I like BlueBell because it isnt too rich, and a decent price.

Ben and Jerry's is way too rich and sweet for me.

Ben N' Jerry's is my favorite. Also love Baskin-Robbins. Blue Bell is garbage.

I do miss it.

I'm a fan of Baskin Robbins.

Baskin Robbins and Brusters are good. For grocery store stuff, whoever makes Publix branded stuff is great. Blue Bell as an old standby.

I'd say regionally you'd get different answers.

In my region, I buy umpqua or Tillamook. My friends dad works at umpqua, I love their half n half.

I prefer Tillamook. Especially fresh at the source. The town of Tillamook smells like cow dung. Fortunately, I can put my nose in a De Garde beer to solve that problem.

I don't like what I've tried from Tillamook. Any particular flavors much better than others?
