not trying to get into a debate because there have already been several on this board, but i was highly disappointed in the burger at burgersmith. they had some good local beer on tap though.

I have found if you just stay away from their "Burgersmith" burger, they are pretty good. I enjoyed their grass-fed burger. on the beer, they take pride in their local beer. Only place in town Boucanee is available

Sherwood Poboy on (where else ) Sherwood Forrest, located right next to the Raising Cane's makes a helluva good burger. Hell, all the offerings there are spot on.

This. And y'all stop posting Roul's in these threads. That shite is fricking disgusting. It's the type of food you eat in college and then look back 5 years later and laugh at how you ate something so horrible.

I've never heard of Curbside. Guess I'll check them out.

I know I'll get killed, but I love the Mushroom/Swiss burger at Brewbacher's on Drusilla.

Yes, I know the place is disgusting, but so was the "Silver Spoon" on Nicholson/Brightside near the RR tracks. People still talk about the soul food (beans & rice, smothered chicken or pork chops) in that place and it's been gone for almost ten years. So I don't wanna hear no frickin' shite.

1. Mason's Grill 2. J Alexanders / Capital City Grill 3. Another Broken Egg Cafe (not sure if the new one still serves lunch?) 4. Flemings (at the bar) 5. Outback Steakhouse

Can't disagree with the first two. J. Alexander's probably gets overlooked by most when burgers are discussed. Not a fan of their fries though.
Someone mentioned Hooters & Times. I like those burgers as well. The Ida burger at River Queen in Port Allen is like one of the old drive inn burgers. It's good.
Why is the burger Flemings bar any different than one you'd get in the main dining area?

Used to love getting Dixie Maid, but one of our employees being held up while ordering lunch cooled us on going there anymore.

Juicy Juicy IF Roul himself is in the house. His employees have sunk to Burger King level the past few visits when he's not in the house.

I am just curious, has anyone had Curbside and would not place it in at least the top 3?

I must say that I was not overly impressed for a couple reasons.

Before, let me state, I did really appreciate the homeade bun and fresh ingredients. I really liked the fries serve with it...... And thought it was great sidewalk food.

That being said, I like large and well seasoned patties. I thought the burger was a little bland, and the patty quite small. I ordered their basic burger on my 1 and only trip. Wasnt a blue cheese or kgb or any other special burger. I will do that next time. (I ate Curbside alongside several other trucks at a wroundup a while back.... We got items off all the trucks to share - burger was lacking the most from the 3 in my crew - thats beside the point, as it doesnt pertain to this question... But wanted to state as it could have skewed our opinions).

I will eat curbside again, I want to support the food trucks and small biz. This post was not to deter any potential customers, or create a riot in support of Curbside. I am simply responding to the question inside the thread.

At the current moment, I dont believe Curbside would b in my top 3..... But they may be.... Not a large enough sample size to create a valid list that includes Curbside.... At this minute.
