Barbosa's popups are the best. He's having one this Sunday at Overpass - "smoked meats of Mexico"

Other than that, I like Firehouse in Watson

Also love me some Sonny’s

Smokin' Aces... which will soon be moving operations to Tiger Deaux-Nuts.

And Barbosa's if you can catch a pop-up.

Yeah, same owner, they had a large smoker custom fabricated and will be Tiger Deauxnuts & BBQ operating out of the same place as the current Tiger Deaux-nuts. Should be completing the transition sometime this month.

They also have terrible BBQ sauce.

Bergeron's in Port Allen's rib special is the best ribs in town.

It really is sad, and it’s one of the biggest culinary deficiencies this town has.

Why do people on here hate on BRQ so much. Fwiw, I’ve never been but I do hear their commercials on BR radio when I’m in town.

Barbosa has the best bbq, that dude enjoys work, life and traveling.

Because their BBQ isn't very good.

Sides were great though.

If you like that Texas style bbq you find in places off of I-20, then Podnuh’s. It resembles that style of BBQ and is fairly priced. They have a lunch buffet too. Started in West Monroe and built two locations in BR. One off Florida and one off Sherwood

Try Wholefoods. Not the best, but I find it good.

I get the 3 meat and 2 sides for 15.99?

Ribs/brisket/pulled pork

It takes me two sittings to finish it.
