Bought some Two Hearted Ale at the publix just below the water tower at the intersection of hwy 161 and 182. $10.99 a sixer if I remember correctly. Get that and the Magic Hat Summer sampler.

You're Welcome.

if you guys enjoyed the two-hearted ale check out the hopslam for an imperial ipa. they also do a cherry stout seasonally that i would kill for. and in 2010 did an excellent sparkling ale. keep your eyes peeled for all of these.

Bells Oarsmen is a great hot weather beer! You must get your hands on it.

Just bought a six of Two Hearted and a single Oberon. I am not a wheat fan so I thought I'd start with just one.

And the Abita Strawberry run is over for the season.

The closest place to buy Oberon is the Whole Foods in Mobile. If you are going to Destin, it can be had at the beverage store by the mall.

The only problem there is you can't find hopslam anywhere, at least not around where I am in Atlanta. Two Hearted is the best widely found ipa, imo.

I drink the shite out of Bell's Two Hearted. So much so, my buddy calls it my "crutch beer." Brewery not far away from here... hoping to tour soon.

Had this for the first time last weekend.

Very interesting, complex little beer. It's got those sour beer principles incorporated... just a nice, nice beer.

I'll gladly take Two Hearted Ale.

Trying my first one right now. Very hoppy, but actually seems a little less floral than say the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Am I right?

And this is an IPA?

It's smooth.

Tell me that you poured it into a glass and held it up to light for inspection. It's one of the joys of unfiltered beer with great color.

The 4 best things about living in Mobile:
1) proximity to the Gulf for fishing
2) Bell's Beer
3) Brewery Ommegang
4) Great Divide

Before I move home in August, I am planning a massive stock up on these brews. I've had the Bell's kalamazoo stout, amber Ale, 2-hearted ale, pale ale, but have yet to try the Oberon. Getting Bells to distribute to LA would be fantastic. Its hard to go back to drinking Abita after tasting this stuff.

Glad you're enjoying it and I'm very jealous. I enjoy turning people onto Bell's. Anyone who likes beer in the least needs to know about this brewery.

Not enjoying it.

Enjoyed it.

Damn fine stuff. I only bought one because I am not a wheat fan. I'm going to get more of that stuff. I'll put a six aside for you. If we can get together, fine. If not, well....more for me.

Thanks for this post. Headed to central Michigan tomorrow, and expect to get hammered making sure I try all of the one's mentioned in this thread. Think I will see about having an assortment shipped.
