We drive through last week and enjoyed Boomtown BBQ.

Lol, I'm not a jerk enough to suggest Casa Ole. But Lupe Tortilla is a good choice.

Tokyo for sushi and jap grill. Better than any place I've been in Lafayette or Baton Rouge.

Chaba for one of the best Thai places in the Gulf South.

Catfish Kitchen has a good buffet.

There's a Sartains seafood restaurant right by Tokoyo on I-10. I haven't eaten at that one since it was built, but the one towards Port Arthur was pretty good.

Sugas downtown for something fancy and Creolish.

Boomtown BBQ

Pass on Pappadeauxs. Overpriced for bad imitation of Cajun food. Floyd's is probably better anyway.

That's beyond false. One of my offices is in Port Arthur so I've had the "pleasure" of dining at Tokyo more time than I can count. Sushi Yama and Ichiban kick the shite out of the garbage Tokyo shovels out.

I know Beaumont doesn't have a lot to offer but I knew there were better options than Casa Ole. I think we settled on Lupe Tortilla

I've been to Ichiban, never Sushi Yama.

Give me Tokyo over Ichi.
