re: Baws: Are you a wine or whiskey type?

My order is:
1) Beer
2) Wheated Bourbon or Red wine (Syrah and Pinot Noir are typically my favorite styles)
3) Basically any other style of Whiskey

Everything else.

I find I pace myself much better with bourbon or wine. I just plow through beer too quickly, particularly if it's hot outside.

I honestly haven't had a really bad hangover in quite a while. I usually drink a bunch of water while I'm boozing. Usually the only time I get a real hangover is if I have multiple days of heavy drinking, then it seems to be a cumulative effect where after day 3 or so I feel like total arse and don't want to drink anymore.

Yeah, you'd have to be drinking beers that average out to 7.0% ABV or above for a dozen 12 ounce beers to contain as much alcohol as a fifth of 80 proof liquor.
