Funny list bc the best steak I've had recently was at Stab's (ribeye, believe it's technically in Central though) and I love Mason's brunch, neither are on your list so I guess I'm good

So you're talking about the atmosphere of the parking lot? Inside of Ichiban they have a very nice ambiance and tasteful furniture and other features. So while you're in the parking lot its ugly scenery that's what you're saying, that's why you'll pay more/equivalent value for the same, maybe even less depending on POV food quality?

For my written off, I'm gonna say Dempsey's. No real complaints. It's just a restaurant I used to go to, but don't anymore, and I can't think of good reason to go back.

Well shite. Not two days later and I end up at Dempsey's.
The plan was to go the state police cafeteria for some catfish, but we couldn't make it in time, so we went to Dempsey's instead. All good, no complaints. I've got to admit, there's always one or two waitresses there that are a turn on.

How can that be if you worked there? You know you were rocking them tight jeans.

Talent at Dempsey's Coursey is nowhere close to what it was 5 or 6 years ago. Dempsey's should not be written off by anyone. They serve pretty good food.

Is Cast Iron Kitchen going to reopen? Someone said this is the 2nd fire for the owner. What's up with that? A few of their menu items are pretty decent.

The Velvet Cactus - went once and got bean dip that tasted like the stuff you buy at Circle K at 2 a.m. Friend said his daughter ordered shrimp quesadillas and the shrimp had shells still attached. Also heard the margaritas stink.

I'll be honest there is a lot left to be desired with Velvet Cactus but I really like their queso, and the fried plantains.

Chicken enchiladas are good too
