I prefer St. Louis. The wife prefers baby back. So I alternate.

It's easier to turn out a good product using Back ribs. But properly done Spare ribs trump Baby Backs anyday..

I've been doing st Louis the last few years. I like more meat on the bone than what I get from baby backs.

As mentioned, I like St. Louis, trimmed, and the wife prefers BB. I'll eat both, so I do both types most of the time. Everyone is happy.

St Louis for sure, a little more meat and fat so I find they have more flavor.

There is no wrong answer here. If I smoke ribs 5 times, 4 of those will usually be St. Louis cut spares. Thats my personal preference.

I have always preferred BB, but I enjoy a well prepared SL as well.
