Is there any place in Metro Atlanta that makes an authentic, legitimate King Cake?

If not maybe you can start a business selling red and black Falcon King Cakes.

That's a damn good question. A quick Google search came up with four potential options.

Henri's
Cake Hag
Publix
Whole Foods

I'm going to call each of them tomorrow. Let you know what I find out.

I can tell you Publix and Whole Foods ain't hittin' on sh!t, and neither is Kroger.

To everyone who suggested that i get one delivered - that's what i've been doing every year since i've moved here. I don't want to do that any more, that's why i'm trying to find a place that makes them out here. 6.5 million people in metro Atlanta, somebody's gotta be doing them.

Did ya'll really think you were giving me an original suggestion i hadn't thought of? Having one shipped? Really?

Dude ... the best "advice" you had was "have one delivered" ... as if nobody thought of that. I asked if anyone knew where to get one IN ATLANTA. If you didn't know, just keep your useless "advice" to yourself.

Yeah, I read it. He can't get a decent King Cake in ATL, so that's why I told him about Haydel's. They ship King Cakes. He could have a real NOLA King Cake in ATL. if he orders from them, or any other NOLA bakery that ships.

Gris Gris, ... there are several of us "Atlanta Exiles" from Louisiana who post here on the Tigerdroppings FDB. There's really no "Atlanta food board" that's worth a damn. This is the only food related message board where the posters have opinions that we trust and understand each other's likes and culinary needs. I'd say there are at least 2, maybe 3 dozen of us that regularly post on here that live in metro Atlanta.

I say this to point out that it's not outrageous for me to come here with this question, nor am i the first person to come here with an Atlanta related question.

As for my "bluntness" in response, i guess i was having a day where i wasn't being as receptive to people's BS on here as i usually am. I guess i'll have to visit the OT more.
