I'm out of ideas for what to bring to a party tonight.
FDB, what would you bring to a stranger's house who is cooking enchiladas for a large group and asked for an app?

I really didn't realize that this had become so much of a thing. Oh well, I'm not opposed to people drinking and having a good time.

Throw some tomatoes, jalapenos, and onions on the smoker for about 45 minutes then make salsa

--Homemade bean dip: cooked pintos, mashed w/some sauteed onion, garlic, jarred salsa, and topped w/cheese.
--Corn/tomato/black bean chopped salad w/avocado dressing. Can't remember where I first saw the recipe, but I've made it at least three times since. Here it is: LINK This salad has the benefit of being relatively healthy & vegetarian friendly.
--roasted cherry tomatoes; toss various colors of cherry tomatoes w/oil, put on baking pan & cook at 400 until soft. Toss w/chopped cilantro & sea salt, serve at room temp.

I would imagine that the taco fixings would not be an app. But I really enjoy pickled shrimp and a lot of people don't make them
