Anyone else impressed with the new Tin Roof Voodoo?

It's not quite as good as Envie but I'd say it is just about on par with Commotion. Easily Tin Roof's best mass produced beer so far.

This is my new anytime beer. It's a shame you can't get cheap 6-packs at the brewery anymore. (went from $6 or $7 to $9) The new Gameday IPA isn't bad either. It's a little bland but it is a session IPA and it's miles better than the hoppy Bud light that was the last version.

I think the only cheap 6-pack now is the $6 watermelon wheat until the sell out.

I really like this beer for a lower alcohol session drinker (compared to the 8% plus I usually go for). Good carbonation and well balanced. Definitely a solid effort.

I like it and the Devils Harvest Breakfast IPA from SPB.

Someone told me the owners canned the brewmaster because he wouldn't make an IPA and brought a complete new staff.

Not sure if true maybe someone else has some insight.

True. Brought in people who know what they are doing, who have brewing degrees and have worked in actual big time commercial breweries.

Both Voodoo and Juke Joint are really good beers now, and they stay in my regular rotation.

It used to always be $8 regular price for a 6-pack ($10 for mixed) unless they were trying to thin out a certain beer and put it on sale.

And yes, new brewing team as of Spring 2016, and they are slowly reworking all of the recipes.

I got their Fomo DIPA at the brewery last weekend. It was good. I asked if they were going to can and was told not this go around.

Big fan of the new Voodoo recipe. I'm usually the first person to shite on TR but Voodoo is a solid pale ale. Usually in my rotation...especially when on sale for $7.99 at rouses.

They are still tweaking that one... hopefully once they have it where they like it they can start canning it.
