The Cotton Distric Grill, if it is still there, was pretty good. I haven't been there in football season though. We were there for business several years ago and a guy I worked with went to State and we ate there a few times.

The BBQ place is their most famous place to eat, can't even remember the name of it though

Little dooeys is way over rated. I have been to that place 2 times in 10 years. Me personally I like Stomboli's (pizza place) get the chicken ranchero pizza.

For bars, just go to cotton district there are 5 bars right close together and just pick which one you think is best. They are all generally about the same

I agree it's not good, but that's where everyone will tell you to go when you go there, "the game day guys have even there!"

yeah, that's the only reason it has the recognition it does. It's good, but nothing special
