There have been a couple of threads on it:

General consensus is that it's quite good, but quite expensive.

Not worth the money or the hassle.

That's what it sounds like.

I'll just go to Whole Foods and can be in and out in 15mins.

This was my take from it. The pulled pork was good, but the brisket was pretty dry when we went. Sauces were ok. Given the price, location, and crowds, I'm not dying to go back.

It was a lot of food though, which was a plus.

Love it, probably the best restaurant in Baton Rouge. Great food, drinks, and service. No problem making reservations or sitting at the bar. Once you get the lay of the land everything runs smooth, they have drink specials all throughout the week.

How long have you been managing over there?

Considering 50% of his posts have been praising it or defending it's location.

that location is genius, nothing around them to compete plus you have all of the auto dealerships, blue cross blue shield, 1 mile from the highway 12, and it is still packed. The Servers must be making bank right now.

Im not a fan of BBQ sauce in general. What other food options do you have?

I don't have an interest in it but I did build it
it was langland insisting that the location was a death sentence when the opposite has been true thus far. Right now the only way to eat there at peak times is with a reservation, even for lunch, which is very unusual for this city

I eat there often and I love it
others will not love it and that's ok but I do think that relative to most other BR options it's clearly well positioned.

My one (thus far) and only experience as well.

Yep. Nothing special.

Service was excellent and the manager was very attentive as well. I'll go back simply because of this.

Yes. We received a complementary dessert that fed 4 people and we had left overs.

I drink water at every restaurant, primarily because I like water and also because I refuse to pay the absurd prices that are now being charged for a fountain drink.

However, I will say that when I saw that bottled coke, it brought back childhood memories of going to the beauty shop with my mom and getting a bottled coke. Plus, if you are going to drink a coke and actually enjoy the taste, this is the best way to do it.

Don't even remotely agree. We ate there night before leaving for Florida so I'll post a review when I get back, but the food was really good.

No one needs multiple soft drinks at a meal. Drink water or unsweet tea.

I need to go back, went on opening day and liked it.

As for the soda.. a beer and free water is good enough for me.

eta

I do wish they had taps, because I've come to expect out-of-date IPAs in cans or bottles at restaurants.
