Our trip was audibled from San Fran to Santa Cruz. Any particular wineries we should hit? So far, it seems like Ridge Vineyard and Rhys wines receive lots of accolades.

Ridge wines are great...we went to the one in Sonoma. One of the better portfolios of wine around.
There is terrific Afghan food between there and the airport too

Santa Cruz is amazing, but I've never thought to do wine there. I asked my wife to marry me at Seven mile beach, and we always had a great time visiting Ben Lomond...Henflings namely. A drive up to Pescadero, eating at Duartes then driving East up into redwoods from there...I could go on, but it's an insanely beautiful area.

Kathryn Kennedy is amazing as is Mount Eden Vineyards. Top notch high level napa quality. Ridge, clos la chance, and Thomas fogarty are others I would recommend.

Great place to eat if you're looking for that while in town.
