Any chance of changing my nomination of shichimi to Gochujang for Oct 2-15? I use shichimi a lot which is why I nominated it, but it's really only used as a condiment for soup like udon or ramen. I did see one recipe online for a shichimi crusted pork tenderloin, but I think we'd be better off exploring Gochujang, which is a Korean chili paste, and far more versatile.

Done. Make note everyone our next spice in the series will be Gochujang.

Another thing I see down the road is Jamaican Jerk seasoning and Walkerswood. They're both Jerk seasonings with Walkerswood being a paste. It's not for almost a half a year but I could see one of those being replaced with a new contestant.

Degas - Jamacan Jerk and Walkerswood - I saw that right away and decided One was for all practical purposes, the same as the other.

Okay. Thanks for pointing that out (I've never really cooked with either).

Do either of you have another nomination?

FYI I subbed the Jamaican Jerk with Half-Sharp (as opposed to Sweet) Hungarian Paprika
