Just saw it'll be on Cooter Brown's tap starting August 3.

Is anyone going to support the beer? I do love the Weekend Warrior pale ale. Also, the Staycation would be a good Mardi Gras sessionable. But there are already too many good Louisiana beers I would have to pass-up before buying these two. I can't drink down these hops down fast enough as it is.

Meh
They've got a couple good choices....

Wonder if we would have access to BBH.

I only moderately liked their stuff before the buyout, now it seems like it'd be akin to drinking Blue Moon.

Eta...I'd have no problem mixing in a few Weekend Warriors at a tailgate.

I was always a fan of weekend warrior. Hop delusion was good fresh.

Love me some Lovestreet. When someone come in from Houston I try to get them to bring back a 12 pack

I guess I understand the love for Weekend Warrior. I used to think it was top notch too.
Now, especially in LA, y'all have way better Pale Ale options.

And if your argument is going to be Weekend Warrior for tailgates/Mardi Gras because of cans, then you need to go try the new Tin Roof Voodoo Pale Ale.

If I lived in LA, I'd see no reason to support Karbach.

Over the myriad of local options we have? Hell no.

I guess if it's the only thing on tap.

Great. Another brewery that I'll never buy taking up local space.

Just what we need.

Don't do it. There is a better local substitute for every single one of their standard lineup, and most if not all of their seasonals.

If yall get BBH or F.U.N. series, I'll allow it.

Their stuff was average before the buyout.

And in TX, you've got Pub Crawl, Real Ale 4 Sqared and Oskar Blues Pinner as all better local PA/session options better than Weekend Warrior.

will pale in comparison to the IPAs you get in LA these days. Even old envie and old commotion were both better than Weekend warrior.

Weekend Warrior was the only one of their lineup I liked. Now they shelf turd on huge displays all over Houston. I imagine that there will be tap spaces at places like walk on's and another non-craft beer driven bars.

I loved Hop Delusion when it first came out... but yeah that was before the hazy IPA trend blew up in LA.

i always got the Hopadillo at the airport in Houston. Not sure if I would put it in my rotation though. The can is nice, though.

They're pretty average IMO. I went to the brewery once and tasted multiple beers. The hopadillo is decent. I'll choose Parish, Gnarley Barley, or Great Raft any day over them.
