You seem to be the authority on Houma so a question for you. What is the name of the donut business opening a store in BR and when do they expect to open the doors?

I honestly don't know. I don't have my finger on the pules of BR anymore.

The rights for a five guys in this area is owned by someone. The owner of Wing Stop tried to open one up but the rights were already taken

Same guy was looking to put two different restaurants in the old Blockbuster building and decided not to. I've been wondering who will take advantage of that spot for some time now.

No shite, regardless of the time of day, lines out the door.

Went there Saturday for the first time at about 2 PM. The line was out the door. I was pleasantly surprised with the burger. Not a gourmet burger by any stretch, but pretty good and tasty for a burger off a griddle.

I find it to be the most overrated burger I've probably ever had.

Ill ride down to fatpats/dix/burgersmith etc etc before I go there.

I love the place, but Judice Inn takes this award in Lafayette.

Decent burger, but the seasoning they use has some sort of funny bidness going on.

Everyone wants to get on MLK

Houma's MLK is the epitome of poor planning. A sea of concrete, big boxes, and numerous uncontrolled entrance/exits/intersections. That place is a hot death trap.

It really is. They need to redesign it to be like Veterans Blvd. People around here don't know how to use suicide lanes besides the fact that they are suicide lanes. They have the room to do it but I am not sure about the money.

There needs to be a moratorium on new chicken wing restaurants in Houma. What is the appeal of fricking chicken wings? I can understand wanting them as a snack - but do we really need ANOTHER restaurant serving wings as its main fare? Wing stop, BWW, WOW, now this shite? There are enough restaurants serving chicken in various ways in Houma already. Please make it stop.

I'm not a wing fan. More trouble than they're worth.
